Closing Our Strawberry Hill Location
Community Music’s mission to provide our students with the essential guidance, instruction and resources that encourage music and learning has been the essence of how we practice the business of teaching music.
Our day to day decision making regarding student learning and general business practices are driven by our commitment to provide the most comprehensive, practical and fun methods of music learning so our students are able to experience and build musical skill and awareness.
It is with mixed emotion that we inform you that July 25, 2008 will be the last day Community Music will be operating from our current location.
We have been unable to come to an agreement with our landlord to secure a lease that is acceptable. Perhaps all the recent developments in our neighborhood are signs of things to come for our current home. Only time will tell.
Efforts to secure a new location for all of us to teach that would offer our existing clientele a safe and convenient space that would be equitable for everyone have been unsuccessful.
The good news is that Geno, Chris and Jeff will continue to offer private lessons during the 2008 - 2009 academic school year.
- Geno will be offering “private” lessons in your home .
- Chris has secured an office space in the Saugatuck area of Westport.
- Jeff will be offering “private” lessons in your home.
We will not be offering ensemble sessions during the 2008 - 2009 academic school year.

IMPORTANT
If you are interested in reserving lessons for the Fall 08 semester, we recommend that you please visit our "Lessons Information" page or complete the “Pre-Registration” form on this website and your teacher will contact you through email to provide you with registration information and review their general business practices and policies.
Since there is limited space available, we recommend that you express your interest in reserving times with us by the end of July 2008. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
