Q. My son / daughter wants to learn a specific tune or style of music. What are Community Music's feelings about this?
A. The curriculum at Community Music is designed to build musicianship. We have spent years of hands on experience and research to bring to you the essential elements of a "well-balanced" music education.
The Community Music repertoire includes Folk, Classical, Pop, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Country, and R&B tunes that model a collection of essential musical content and skills.
We recognize that some students want to learn a tune they just heard on the radio, or the latest style of music to hit the air waves.
We support that motivation and will do our best to address these requests. We will be sure to offer several options available to assist our students at learning any material.
